I started mechanical insulation in 1994, when I was 18 years old. I had a chance to work with a lot of the “old school” mechanics, which was big for a young kid. Also having two brothers in the trade was a huge bonus. I was able to learn from some of the best.
In 2003 I started BD Insulation Inc “BIG DAWG”. The business was successful and a huge learning experience. I was fortunate to have great customers and local work. Owning my own business was great. It gave me the flexibility to attend my daughters sports and school events.
After 24 years in the field. 15 of them running my own company. I’m looking forward to the future with NCMI as a Project Manager.
