NCMI was hired to insulate the exterior ductwork and the piping for the unit to service the natatorium and pool pump room.
On most exterior ductwork, NCMI uses poly-iso board with 1577CW Venture Clad jacketing. This insulation is far superior to fiberglass board insulation outside. If the jacketing fails, fiberglass board can become saturated and heavy and completely fall off the duct and peel the existing jacketing off with it! With NCMI’s methods, this is much less likely to happen as the poly iso insulation we use is lightweight and does not become saturated.
