Novo Nordisk is a global healthcare company with over 7000 employees that manufactures Diabetes medication. NCMI has worked on numerous projects at the facility.
Warehouse: Insulation at Novo is something that we take seriously. The specs for the warehouse called for 2” thick 6# FSK board. The higher-density board is pin-welded onto the bottom of the ductwork to ensure it is properly retained. The higher-density board has higher insulating properties and is superior to the lower-density 3# board that is typically used.
Novo Chilled Water Pumps: Chilled water pumps need to be insulated completely to prevent condensation and icing up. NCMI insulates pumps and components with closed cell rubber insulation to effectively seal and insulate the items. The closed-cell rubber comes in sheets ranging from ½” to 1 ½” thick and can be used to custom-make insulation for equipment such as pumps and strainers.
