Skybridge Ice Melt
Killington Resort has a combined 1,977 skiable acres and is typically the first mountain to open and the last mountain to close in the state of VT.
The Killington Skyship Skybridge is located on the Eastern side of the resort and has a pedestrian bridge, connecting the Skyeship Lodge to the parking lot,that goes up and over the road. The bridge uses hot water to melt the ice so pedestrians don’t slip and the hot water ensures that the pump house for snowmaking doesn’t freeze!
